didinium speculation

didinium speculation

Didinium is fast small strong and sharp. It pierces paramecium pellicle draining cytoplasm into its oral pore. Paramecium defends using trichocysts to create a tangled mess of whiplike threads allowing it to swim to safety. Didinium is darker. More yellow than paramecium. Didinium smells funny. Now that's a total guess. And less interesting. Paramecium eats didinium babies.
