the upside down book

the upside down book

entire book is written and illustrated upside down

This book challenges children and adults. It provides therapeutic exercise for eyes and brain. Initial cost of publishing is high due to the difficulty of finding typists, authors, and illustrators who can work in the upside-down (UD) genre. Modern typesetting machines are geared toward conventional right-side-up (RSU) technology. Retooling is necessary. Marketing efforts are stymied by resistance from the sight-impaired community. These issues are resolved by publishing a UD Braille version early on in the project.

Note

Eventually the upside-downs and the right-side-ups become polarized factions.
